Business Partner Remote Access - Using RSA SecurID Token

Breaking News

Users of the legacy RSA token authentication should know that EPA's RSA tokens will expire on July 31, 2017. EPA's RSA token service is not compliant with National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) Level 4 authentication requirements and expiring tokens will not be renewed. EPA's remote access options will be: 1) Full network access with government furnished equipment (GFE) through Virtual Private Network (VPN). 2) Limited network (VPN/proxy) for non-GFE access. 3) Access to a virtual EPA desktop through the Enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

VDI is particularly relevant to EPA's external business partners who require access to internal EPA resources. Business partners lacking an EPA PIV card should immediately begin the Office of Administration and Resources Management (OARM) iBoard vetting process by working with their EPA Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or other EPA point of contact. They must also identify specific tool and application/resource requirements, which will be supported via OEI's enterprise VDI solution. OEI recommends that business partners initiate actions at this time to minimize the possibility of a loss of remote access when RSA tokens expire. For additional information on iBoard, please visit the Bringing Personnel On Board intranet page.
